Eska Mtungwazi’s family comes from Zimbabwe, but she was brought up in Lewisham, South London. Classical music, church music, jazz and pop have all influenced her singing style.
Eska Mtungwazi's music education as a child was anything but formal – she randomly absorbed all the sounds colliding with each other in the family living room in Lewisham.
