Paul Gladstone Reid sings and writes music in many different styles from rap and hip hop to opera. In Moving Away he sings with a voice which is rooted in the soul and gospel traditions. Soul and gospel came out of the southern states of the USA in the early 20th century and have a vital place in the musical tastes of today.
